James and Kate Brash had built Isola Garden Design into a business they were proud of but they knew it could be more. Like many owner-managed businesses, the day-to-day had become consuming, making it hard to step back, think clearly, and build the structure needed to grow. They were also navigating the particular challenge of running a business as a couple: blurred roles, overlapping responsibilities, and the pressure of wearing too many hats at once.

Over several years of working together, James and Kate built the foundations that growing businesses need but rarely have: a clear vision, defined roles, structured decision-making and genuine accountability. We worked on their personal leadership as well as the business itself because the two are inseparable when you’re a founder-led enterprise.
